Hyderabad, April 23 (INN): The Crime Investigation Department Court, Nampally on Monday adjourned the hearing to Tuesday on a petition filed by the CID seeking custody of Malishetty Bhanu Kiran, the prime accused in the murder case of factionist Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri.
In its petition, the CID has sought Bhanu Kiran's custody for 15 days to thoroughly interrogate him in connection with Suri's murder and other cases pending against him. After hearing the CID's arguments, the court adjourned the plea to Tuesday.
Nearly 15 cases relating to extortion, land grab and cheating registered across the State are pending against Bhanu Kiran, who was arrested on Saturday. (INN)
