Congress, TDP targeting Jagan on false charges: YSRC

Hyderabad, April 26 (INN): Fearing electoral reverses in the ensuing by-polls, ruling Congress and main opposition TDP are leveling baseless allegations besides resorting to mudslinging on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and their comments stem out of frustration, YSR Congress Party has said.

“While the Congress has totally given up and has accepted defeat even before the battle is fought as there is a talk that President's rule will be imposed after the June 12 elections, TDP is trying to link YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to many issues that does not concern him.” YSRC Party official spokesperson, Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Wednesday. TDP is trying to link Krishna, who was convicted for five years in the Paritala Ravi's murder case and Bhanu, who allegedly killed Maddelapalli Suri with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on baseless charges.

Suri's wife Bhanumathi had alleged that N Chadrababu Naidu is directly involved in the murder of her husband. Even Vangaveeti Radha's wife, RatnaKumari had accused Naidu of conspiring to kill her husband. There were also allegations that Naidu was behind the killing the A Madhava Reddy, Ambati said adding that Chandrababu Naidu should clear his name in all these issues before leveling baseless allegations against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. “There was a shooting incident in the residence of film actor N Balakrishna (Naidu's brother-in-law) and one person was dead. How far did the case go should also be looked into before hurling allegations like Krishna is close to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the like,” he said adding that Chandrababu Naidu is also accused in the murder cases of IAS officer Raghavendra Rao and Mallela Babji as well.

Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu who has been speaking in higher decibels should know that his close relative Katta Subramanya Naidu was in a Karnataka jail for 200 days. On the Congress side, V Hanumath Rao, Veerasiva Reddy, Renuka Choudary are all trying to link the convicted Krishna with Jagan through Bhanu, which is irrational and ridiculous. “They are all speaking out of frustration and they are convinced that they cannot make a mark in the June 12 by-polls. Some reports suggest that an official communique went to the Congress high command recommending President's rule after the by-poll results,” he said.

All the efforts of Congress and TDP will fall flat and YSR Congress will win all the seats in the ensuing by-polls as people are with Jagan and are fed-up with ruling Congress and are in no position to believe TDP leaders' blatant lies. (INN)
