Tirupati, April 27 (INN): Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday reiterated that his party would assume power in 2014 general elections in the state.
Speaking to party cadres at Tiruapti road show during his visit, Naidu said that the party workers should be patient and work with self-confidence that they would assume power shortly.
Naidu participated in a review meeting on the by-polls and discussed the party's prospects with the local leaders at Tirupati.
He directed the party leaders and workers to strive for the victory of party candidate at Tirupati Assembly segment.
On the occasion, former Praja Rajyam Party district president Jangalapalli Srinivasulu and his followers joined TDP.
Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh Naidu, District TDP chief Mahadeva Naidu and Palamaneru TDP legislator N Amaranatha Reddy submit a comprehensive report to the party president over the Tirupati and entire district.(INN)
