Malayalam film Avan is being dubbed in to Telugu as Athadu. KJ Yesudas's son Vijay Yesudas is debuting to Tollywood with the film. Another lead character is being played by Bala. Nandan Kavil is the director. It is being produced on Kanakasai Films banner by Bonthu Kanaka Sarada and Bonthu Kiran Reddy.
The story is about how the hero due to some circumstances becomes a murderer and when there arises a situation when he has to kill his childhood friend what does he do. Rajamani has composed music. Vijay Yesudas will appear as a singer. Muktha George is female lead in the film. Anoop Menon, Jagathy Sreekumar, Riyaz Khan, Kottayam Nazir are the other cast.-MM
