Phone, mobiles, chiranjeevi relatives phones, friends phones are been tapped was stated by friends of Mega Star. When enquired more in depth, Chief Minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy having took over as CM immediately he purchased this costly and latest technology based telephone tapping machine, this machine is capable of tapping about 600 calls at one shot, cost of this machine is more than a crore being bought from America. With the help of this instrument Intelligence department can tap and monitor movements of Terrorists, Naxallites, and anti-social elements, this was useful in controlling all these activities to much extent. Intelligence has so far maintained this monitoring on T R S and Telugu Desham this is a part of Intelligence duty to monitor the activities like who are leaders who are meeting, who are discussing what and all will be noted by Intelligence Department. But phone tapping is against law, this law is exempted to Intelligence Department in order to keep vigil on anti social activities. Monitoring and tapping phone calls to and from Chiranjeevi phone number is against law is stated by Law experts. Even before Rajiv Gandhi phone was tapped and Cong had to pull out of its support .
