Hyderabad, May 13 (INN): The State Government on Sunday ordered a high level probe into the misuse of official helicopter by a pilot.
Reacting on reports in a section of media that a pilot Varun Gupta and technician Sagar have reported taken their girlfriends for a ride in the State helicopter - Augusta Westland, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has directed the Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi to order an immediate enquiry into the issue. The pilot has reportedly told the Air Traffic Control that he was going for a test ride as Director General of Police V Dinesh Reddy was planning to use the helicopter for an official visit. However, the DGP had no such plans.
The Chief Minister has asked the Chief Secretary to submit a detailed report in the matter. (INN)
